Our Staff
Our staff is chosen for their warmth, sensitivity, and flexibility as well as their experience working with children of each age group. Most of our staff has degrees or has 12 units or more in Early Childhood Education or they are in the process of completing their credits. We offer competitive salaries and an excellent benefit package.
We provide CPR certification or re-certification every year. The staff enjoys Early Childhood Conferences once a year. We have monthly, paid, evening staff meetings. The staff is entitled to six sick days a year. They are paid for the 12 days annually that we are closed, one week paid vacation after the first year, and special recognition throughout the year. All of this is applicable after a ninety-day probation period for full-time employees.
Our teachers are flexible and can teach in any room at any time. We prefer to move the staff around, rather then put all the children in one room to accommodate teacher child ratio. The ratio is one teacher to four infants (children under two) and one teacher to seven preschool, (children two and up).
